Christmas Shoe boxes for Darndale

Members are asked once again to prepare a child's Christmas box for those attending the Darndale creche. If possible the branches should collect the boxes in time to deliver them to Autumn Council, otherwise bring them directly to the Darndale Creche

Please ensure that the box and lid are wrapped separately with Christmas wrapping paper before filling. Secure with an elastic band or string. This will allow the contents to be checked. Please indicate what age group your box is for and whether it is for a boy or girl with a sticker.

Suggested contents:

• 0 – 1 yrs: items of clothing - pj’s, socks, hat & gloves soft toy suitable for a 1 year old, try and make an item seasonal, novelty baby tooth brush

•  1 – 3 yrs: items of clothing - pj’s, socks, hat & gloves, soft toy suitable for a 1 year old, try and make an item seasonal, novelty baby toothbrush, small book, jelly tots

•  4 – 6 yrs: Some of the above, pencil case with pencil, rubber, sharpener, ruler colour pencils, colouring book, reading book, hair items for girls toothbrush & paste small toy that will fit into the box, packet of sweets or small selection box

•  6 – 12 yrs: as above maybe a Santa hat
